Our products

Being the main staple food for billions of people and with thousands of known varieties, we belief oryza sativa, or rice, deserves our full attention. As a result, our ample product range is focused entirely on rice products and includes:
  • Soft-cooking round and medium grain Japonica rice;
  • Dry-cooking Indica longgrain rice;
  • Aromatic rices such as Jasmine and Basmati;
  • Glutinous rice;
  • Parboiled rice;
  • Broken rice;
  • Rice flour.
Throughout our history as rice brokers, we have always been strong promoters of home-grown European rice. Because, why would basis food need to travel thousands of kilometers? That is why our main emphasis has always been on selling rice that has been produced in the EU, grown in a sustainable way by small-scale farms, and transported by train where possible.

Full traceability from field to fork ? We can provide it.

Of course, not all rice varieties (can) grow in close proximity to the end user. This is where our overseas network comes into play, as it enables us to complete the rice assortment. Nowadays, we sell rice from the EU, but also from Thailand, India, Pakistan, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Vietnam.

About rice flour

The ideal non-allergenic alternative to wheat flour...
Rice flour is produced by grinding broken or whole grain rice, and has a plethora of uses. Rice flour can be used in baby food, crisps and crackers, breakfast cereals, sauce binders and baking mixes, rice noodles, breweries and crispy coatings of deep-fried products, just to name a few examples. Considering its non-allergenic qualities in comparison to wheat flour, it is also a popular product for manufacturers of gluten-free foods and diet foods suitable for coeliac patients.

When it comes to rice flour, the end product can be roughly broken down into 3 categories:
  • rice flour (fragments < 125 micron);
  • rice cones (between 125 and 210 micron);
  • and rice grits (greater than 210 and up to 340 micron).
